The first quarter of 2024 saw notable performance trends among the top dining and restaurant apps on the iOS platform in Germany. Data from Sensor Tower reveals key insights into weekly downloads and active user metrics for these leading apps.

McDonald’s Germany had a strong start with 43K downloads in the first week of January, but downloads gradually declined to around 24K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 530K and ending at 471K, with a dip in mid-February to 402K.

Burger King Deutschland experienced moderate fluctuations in downloads, beginning with 19K in the first week and ending at approximately 14K in the last week of March. Active users showed a more stable trend, starting at 241K and peaking at 259K in the final week.

KFC saw a notable decrease in downloads from 21K in the first week to around 8K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 125K and ending at 91K, with a slight recovery in the final weeks.

Subway® - Official App had a mixed quarter. Downloads began at 13K, peaked at 13K in mid-February, and then declined to about 5.6K by the end of March. Active users showed some growth, starting at 35K and reaching around 38K mid-quarter, before settling at 29K in the last week.

Finally, Domino's Pizza Deutschland saw relatively stable download numbers, with a notable spike to 8K in mid-March, before returning to 4K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained consistent, starting at 71K and ending at around 68K, with a peak of 74K in mid-March.
